Not currently. Letting an AI manage your admin depends on your website's AI connection address (technically called MCP). DeepSeek's web app, mobile app, and open platform have no place to enter this address, and its own API docs state it doesn't handle MCP (per DeepSeek's official API documentation, checked 2026-10-07).
If you want an AI to manage your admin
Use a tool that can connect to an AI connection address — the easiest is:
- Claude Code or Codex: in admin, go to AI Access → API and click Click to copy for my AI, then paste it into that tool's chat box and it will connect itself (see "Connect Your Website with Codex / Claude Code")
What DeepSeek can still do
Power your website's AI customer service: customers ask questions on your site and DeepSeek answers automatically — it's good at Chinese and low-cost.In admin, go to AI Access → Site setup, and under "Connect them here → My credentials" just enter your DeepSeek API key (generated after registering at DeepSeek's open platform, platform.deepseek.com).
Some articles online claim DeepSeek has released an official desktop tool that can connect to admin — we checked with DeepSeek directly and this isn't the case. Don't download any "official client" from an unclear source.
