Connect Your Website with Doubao (Doubao for Work / TRAE)

We haven't found a way to connect admin inside the personal version of Doubao (web / app), so please use one of ByteDance's two other tools instead:

The steps below follow ByteDance's official documentation — we haven't tested this ourselves yet. If it doesn't work, click Report a bug in admin to let us know.

Both need a key: generate one under Advanced settings in admin's AI Access → API.

Doubao for Work (per the official docs)

Whether this requires a paid plan depends on your Doubao for Work page.

• Open Doubao for Work → 「插件·技能·伙伴」(Plugins · Skills · Partners) → click 「+ 添加」(+ Add) in the top right → 「新建自定义插件」(New Custom Plugin)
• Set the transport method to HTTP, and enter your website's AI connection address (technically called MCP) https://your-site/mcp as the address
• Add a custom header: Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY
• Save, then use this plugin in your chat

TRAE (coding tool, per the official docs)

• Open TRAE → 「AI 功能管理 → MCP → 添加 → 手动配置」(AI Feature Management → MCP → Add → Manual Configuration)
• Paste in:
