This feature is only on export-trade sites. If your admin has "Customers → Prospects", you have it; other sites don't.
What it is
The prospect pool holds overseas buyers who haven't bought yet (importers, wholesalers, brands): company name, website, country, contact, source, follow-up stage, score and the reason for it.The company record is the same one as in "Customers → Companies". Until they become a customer they are not in your customer list and get no broadcasts.
How to use it: tell your AI
- "Find LED lighting importers in Germany and add them to the prospect pool" — your AI searches public sources and adds them with upsert_prospect (or import_prospects, up to 200 at a time)
- "Import this trade-show list into the prospect pool" — send the spreadsheet; your AI uses import_prospects
- "Score the prospects that have no score yet" — your AI runs list_prospects (unscored=true), reads each website with fetch_prospect_site, compares it with what you sell, and writes back a 0–100 score and a one-line reason with score_prospect
- "This one replied" / "This one bought" — your AI uses set_prospect_stage; moving to "customer" creates their customer account and links it to the company
These tools are in your AI's "trade" tool group (list_tool_groups shows it).
De-duplication
Same website domain (www ignored) or same email = same company, merged automatically: only empty fields are filled, tags are combined, notes appended — never two rows. Free-mail domains (gmail, qq, 163 …) are not treated as company domains.
Unsubscribes and blacklist
- Emails on your site's blacklist cannot be added
- Unsubscribed emails stay in the pool but are marked "do not contact" — outreach emails will skip them
Who does the scoring
Your own AI does. The platform only reads the public text of their website and stores the score. Only public web pages are read (8-second timeout, private network addresses are never fetched); if a site won't open, your AI will tell you so.
Stages
Prospect → Contacted → Replied → Customer, or Lost. The "Prospects" page in your admin filters by stage / score / country, and you can change the stage by hand.
